Beer brewery ‘De Gebalde Vuist’ (The Clenched Fist) from Hank (Municipality of Altena) organized a Beer Tasting Concert in Xinix in Nieuwendijk on April 12, 2024. During the Beer Tasting Concert, Altena Brass, led by Ward de Ketelaere, provided the musical accompaniment while serving the various beers that the brewery has in its range. Joop van Dijk composed a work especially for this occasion entitled ‘The Clenched Fist’.
This composition is written in a virtuoso uptempo 5/4 time beat with a lot of drive. It gives a good idea of the powerful and delicious beers of ‘De Gebalde Vuist’!
